Matt Knoll (@HullSurvey on IG) has been a sailor all his life and has been a professional marine surveyor since 2007 owning his own surveying business in Florida since 2018. We talk about all sorts of topics from sailing catamarans to monohulls, from new boats to old boats, trends in the marine industry and especially some things an individual could look for themselves to help identify or prevent problems in a boat. Matt provided an TON of great information and insight from his years of experience. Matt's website is https://www.knollmarine.com/
We first started following Griffin and Kenzie on their instagram @The.BoatProject while they were renovating a custom 1968 53' PNW boat in hopes of Airbnb-ing it in Gig Harbor, WA at a private dock off one of the only historical Net Sheds left in the area. We were lucky enough to get a full tour of Lyla and to say it was amazingly beautiful is still an understatement. We talk all about renovating Lyla and the thoughts and process of turning it into a newly successful boat Airbnb. The full video tour is here https://youtu.be/-FecGOxXUWU Also, be sure to check out Kenzie and Griffin's Airbnb listing here https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/44182684?guests=1&adults=1&s=67&unique_share_id=5556d793-12b7-4767-8284-811053a5818e Ā
Here is an audio recording from the live stream we did the other day all about the Corsair 880 Trimaran that we have been trailer sailing for the past 6 months or so. If you want to check out more about this boat click here https://bit.ly/Corsair880TES
We have lived and traveled on many types of boats but sometimes it is interesting to hear other peoples opinions.Ā
In this episode we interview Sailing Yacht Ruby Rose to find out what they think about the differences of monohulls and catamarans. We also touch on why they are selling their beautiful monohull and what exactly they are looking for in a sailing catamaran.Ā
You can find out more about Nick and Terysa Ā on their Youtube Channel Sailing Yacht Ruby Rose Ā :)Ā
And as always you can check out our adventures on a monohull, trawler, and sailing catamaran on our Youtube channel, Tula's Endless Summer ;)

This was supposed to be a 7-9 day passage. It did not go exactly as planned, but lets be real nothing boat related ever does! We had a mix of every kind of weather but Adrenaline handled everything like a champ and kept us safe! We are happy to be back in the United States with family and tons Ā of fish to share!Ā
Here is the link to the Salty Dawg Website (no affiliation we just think they are amazing!)
