  • What's Good? Episode 1: Be More Human

Dr. Isabel Evans joins Judy Mosley on the first episode of What's Good?

Dr Isabel Evans has worked in IT for decades, mainly in testing and quality management roles.

In our conversation, we talked about the importance of understanding different viewpoints – in our personal and our work relationships. For all sorts of reasons of background and current context people may have different viewpoints, priorities and interpretations of a situation.

Isabel recently gained her PhD through research, which started with looking at testers' experiences with their toolset, which led her to unexpected places. From the research, which included understanding how heterogeneous the testing community is, she devised a set of heuristics to help people think about what tools best suit their specific context.
