2024 has come to a close, and while real world horrors await in 2025 we can at least look back on the incredible horror that has invaded our brains in the previous year. Here and now is our awards for the best horror in 2024.

Bob Clark's 1974 classic is also one of the most influential slashers of all time. This Christmas we celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Black Christmas with a full length fan commentary. Forty Years ago, a different kind of Santa came to town, and self-righteous parents, film critics, and moral crusaders weren't happy about. However that didn't stop this Holiday Horror milestone (and by extension it's oddball sequel) from becoming a classic. For it's fortieth anniversary we are going to salute the quintessential Santa slasher and it's deliriously meme-worthy sequel.

For those with a very specific need for more zombies to go with your Christmas sing-alongs... That is very specific but fortunately Anna and the Apocalypse is more than up to the task but this film is the rare time a horror musical hits the right note with critics and audiences. Here we are also going to explore the turbulent history of the horror musical from Sweeney Todd to Repo! the Genetic Opera.
