Born in Modesto, California, and raised as a cowboy's son and a preacher's grandson, Shane became a professional bull rider and later a member of the Los Angeles Police Department before making his big move to Nashville, Tennessee.
Shane would not only have a career as a chart topping solo artist, but would also go on to write songs for artists such as Diamond Rio, Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts, Cole Swindell, and many more.
