What's On Draft?

In this episode, we each take five conspiracy theories (that are believed by at least a decent number of people) and ask you, in a hypothetical world where all the theories were true, which world would be the worst to live in? Buckle in for some really out there ideas and make sure to wear your tin-foil hat to keep the mole people from reading your mind and knowing which team you'll vote for before the end of the episode!

This was the first episode of the podcast we recorded, so we hadn't quite settled on the layout (or nicer microphones) but we think you'll still enjoy it. In this episode, Cameron and Michael are joined by special guest Preston for a very musical episode (though, not to get your hopes up, not an episode drafted entirely in song.) We take five famous musical groups - The Rolling Stones, the Beach Boys, the Four Seasons, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Earth, Wind, and Fire - and take on the monumental task of replacing their famous front men with a modern pop song. Inspired by the (U.S.) release of Tenet this week, we're taking a look at Christopher Nolan movies. The director is well known for working repeatedly with actors he's Caine-fortable (booing intensifies off stage) with, which got us thinking - what if the studios told him his next project had to be filled with completely new faces? We each give a pitch for a Nolan film (or for the archetypes Nolan likes to use in his films) and then take five cast members to co-star in our films. Which lineup would you most like to see work with Nolan? Let us know!

But, as they say, you should never meet your heroes... because sometimes they turn out to be comically inept; like in this case, because we spent our final two picks assigning some very ridiculous limits to everybody's powers. Which superhero would be the best at saving a city even with their limitations? Were there more creative ways we should have limited someone's powers? Let us know!
