Today’s episode will take a more serious tone than most. I am blessed to have the platform I have to be able to discuss things that happen in media and pop culture but my heart and mind are bothered that these are the things that are happening in the world right now. We’ll be discussing what’s been going on with Reggie, Kai Cenat, Rakai and others involved with that situation. I’ll also be discussing the allegations surrounding Cornell university, as well as giving an update on the Nolan Wells case. I always make my descriptions more personal and detailed but it's immensely important for this episode. The following topics that are discussed are held with as much sensitivity as possible, while also maintianing a passion for expressing my beliefs and speaking up for what I feel is right. This week, we'll be talking about Macklemore being penalized for saying something and taking a stance about something that unfortunately gets people upset more than thousands of lives being lost. I'll share my thoughts on this topic, along with the first week of NFL football and more sports talk on this weeks episode of the WOYM podcast. Y’all, I promise I don’t solely turn on my mic to yell, lol. Unfortunately no one else will do it, so this episode will include me calling out Fat Joe (who is not black) for openly using the N word (both iterations of the word) on the Joe Budden Podcast (who didn’t call him out for it and in fact, some members excused it while Joe sat silent). I’ll also be discussing Jemelle Hill’s appearance on CNN where a debate sparked questioning if Capitalism has any ties to white supremacy and Slavery. Those things, alongside a guy who was acting as a Fake NFL Player, Kawhi Leonard and the LA Clippers being found guilty of salary cap circumvention and more on this weeks episode of the What’s On Ya Mind Podcast. To all the people who decided to insult me on Twitter...welp, welcome to the WOYM Podcast, lmao. In this episode, I respond to backlash I received online for speaking out against Tuskegee University's new dress code policy, LEBRON JAMES HAS OFFICALLY JOINED THE PHILADELPHIA 76ers (can you tell I'm excited), Ryan Clark's firing from ESPN and much more!! It took a month too long but I'm back and as always, am grateful to be back. Luckily there has been a lot to happen this past month, including Playstation and Xbox annoncing they will be fazing out discs and consoles made with them and moving forward to digital only gaming. Love Island was so crazy that it made it's way onto the Pod (shoutout Trinity and Bryce). I recorded this before Conor Mcgregor's knee blew out, so you guys will see me hype up a fight that only lasted 30 seconds, lol. Yo guys, we have new Jay-Z, what the heck, lmao!! I am always grateful to have platform to speak to you guys and this has been one of my favorite weeks of podding. If you haven’t guessed it, we’re starting the show talking about the recent Jay-Z freestyle he did at the Roots picnic where he is dissing Drake, Nicki, Kanye, everyone!! During the Jay-Z freestyle, I also discuss Drake breaking Mickeal Jackson’s record for the most number one singles by a male solo artist with “Janice STFU” (“The Jig is up? I’m up 10, wrong charts champ, lol), The New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs are competing in the NBA Finals (and are up 1-0 at the time of typing this description and upload, lol). Sauce Walka threatens his Baby Mother after having relations with Drake and more on this week’s episode of the What’s On Ya Mind podcast!! 

First of all, I would like to say thank you to you guys for allowing me to get to 23 and to get to another year having this platform. The news cycle this past month has been crazy and I have the pleasure of talking about how pop culture and black culture has been the forefront of what has been interesting. Drake finally dropped hypocrite man- I mean Iceman and Chris Brown dropped his self titled “BROWN” project. Also, I can’t  believe I’m about to type this again, Supa Hot Fire fought and knocked out Ray J in a MMA match, what the heck, lol.
