From my lens, whether you are a Doechii, a Sexy Red or an Ice Spice, it is never enough for black women in the hip-hop world. There's seemingly this unreachable standard they have to reach and even when they are overly judged or sexualized, they are deemed as less than. Unfortunately sometimes the problem even comes from within the black community or even other female rappers. And no matter the heights black women or black people reach, it never seems to be enough.

We need to have a conversation.

If you've known me for awhile, you may know that these two topics are topics that I feel very strongly on. In this episode, I'll discuss my personal opinion on having a "type" and how I feel that type of ideology can be close minded. I also discussed my personal viewpoint on the difference between being the best and being the greatest and how one focuses more on pure skill, whereas the other focuses on the combination of skill, accolades, impact and other standards.
