One of the best Journalist I have had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing. Being a woman who always strives to give a voice to different cultures and going above and beyond to show her appreciation for other cultures, she has always impressed me from showing the genuine care and diligence she has as a Journalist and she has also inspired me to continue being proud of the culture I represent.

Being a journalism student at Michigan State opportunity has blessed me with some incredible opportunities, one of which being able to interview the District Judge of Grand Ledge, Michigan in Eaton County, Julie O'Neill. I learned so much from this interview and I don't take this opportunity for granted at all and I hope you all enjoyed the conversation we had.

I had the honor and the privilege of interviewing Dr Myers and it was one of the best experiences I've had in my life and in my Journalism career. When artist in the rap community showcase acts of violence or they say certain things that may offend others, the Impact of Hip-hop always becomes the topic of discussion. Sometimes the things put into the atmosphere can have life altering results and sometimes the actions artist take may result in the loss of other's or even themselves. While these things may be true in some cases, I don't feel the music is the "cause" of the bad things that may happen in the world. Let's talk about it...

For my second semester for my second year of college I was in a Sociology class that talked about things such as Sex, Gender and Sexuality. This class brought up interesting conversations about what's deemed normal and "abnormal" from certain genders. A story from this class and a comment someone made about my appearance lead me to making this episode and discussing the importance on being yourself even when others bash you for it.

It's interesting to view criticism's of certain artist such as Ice Spice or Playboi Carti even when they are some of the most successful artist in the world. I've seen claims that they are too basic or cannot rap and I want to provide some reasoning as to why the things that are viewed as weaknesses are actually their strengths. To me, there's an art to simplicity.

It's been nearly 4 months since I've last posted and the things that have happened this year have left me shell shocked. Everyone goes through things and I understand how difficult life gets and I want to tell all of you why I haven't posted in a while and I want to thank you all for the support you give me with this platform. And I also want to remind you all that the hard work you've put in this year is recognized and I am genuinely proud of you.
