What's So Great About...

We chat about football, wrestling industry egos, AND in the first of our 100 Minute Movie Series, we both watched Spielberg's first movie, DUEL, about a big truck chasing a guy for no reason, it really is that simple.

Terrys back from Wembley to talk about some AEW, we also chat about football, watching habits, Andy's getting ready to fly and Terry answers 10 random questions. New season starts next week!

We made it folks! The 9th and final movie in our PTA series, Licorice Pizza!! Lets just say the gloves come off here... Also, we chat about (checks notes) sand.... We talk about Terry's colleagues poking the bear, and Andy's had an offer from RTE! We also reveal the movies we'll be discussing in the next series, enjoy!

We're back from the gutter! And we've brought someone with us!

This week we're joined by comedian Peter McGann! We're reviewing the second-last movie in our PTA series, and Daniel Day Lewis's final role! We chat about the movie, discuss the acting, the ending, the score, and y'know... have a GOOD TIME.

We also chat about Peter's sketches, Terrys been re-Justified, and Andy rides a horse called Chubby. Enjoy!!

Its our last week off, and we're breaking out the free episodes again! This is from our Patreon series "Whats So Great About 90s Action", if you like it, why not consider joining us over on Patreon for a MERE 5 quid a month...

Its the big one. The fan favourite. Cage. Malkovic. Cusack. Buscemi. Trejo. Chappelle.... Meaney? Its BALLS to the wall here as we breakdown this movie, where everything is dialled up to 10. We first look at the BOFF before diving into what we thought about this movie. And let me tell ya it was fun as hell.

No new episode this week as our studio is closed, but we've dusted off an old classic from the patreon vaults. If you like this, we have about 30 different top 5 episodes, plus a bunch of others, on patreon. https://www.patreon.com/whatssogreatabout

Now I know what you're thinking, what is a needle drop?! But I assure you its a THING. Basically this week we are looking at our favourite movie scene where the song that's playing elevates the scene even further. We have a wide range to discuss, as we chat about why we like them and what the song brings to the scene.

Delighted to be joined on this one by one of our favourite guests, comedian Ed Sammon! We chat about the 7th movie in our PTA series, Inherent Vice!

Not EVERYONE was in agreement on this one, but it made for another good episode!

This week we're joined by Joe McGucken to discuss one of his favourite movies, The Master!

This was a really fun episode, loads of difference of opinion and loads of laughs.

We chat about the movie, chat a bit about how our live show went (Thanks again to those who came!!) and we chat about Joe's recent kid free cruise!

In this episode we chat with the lovely and funny Erin McGathy! We discuss shopping nightmares, home made ice cream and of course... THERE WILL BE BLOOD!

We're chatting about the fourth movie in our Paul Thomas Anderson mini-series, Punch Drunk Love! Also, Andy chats with a fan of the family, Terry recalls a main character karaoke session, Andy hits some serious high notes and the lads talk about being robots.
