What's So Great About...

This week we're chatting Kendrick's Superbowl performance, A24's bringing comedy movies BACK, Andy makes Terry listen to TWO new songs in Bangers for Terry , and then.... its the TT Cup! 16 of Terry's favourite things in the world, chosen by Andy, pitted together in a knockout tournament to see, what IS his favourite thing!

This week we're playing a bit of THIS N' THAT.

Netflix or Youtube? Oasis or Blur? Tom Hanks or Tom Cruise? Stone Cold or The Rock?

We also talk a bit of football, Andy watches WWE for the first time in years, Terry fills Andy in on the Oscar controversy, and in our new segment "Bangers for Terry", Andy gave Terry some West Coast RAP to digest!

In this BUMPER episode, we cover.....

AND.. in a new segment "BANGERS FOR TERRY", Terry finally weighs in on the Brand New /Taking back Sunday feud of 25 years ago.

Then.... We each list and discuss our TOP 5 GREATEST HITS! Its a good time, if I may be so bold.

We had issues this week unfortunately, BUT here is the first episode of our CURRENT patreon mini-series, HEIST MOVIES.

The first installment, its an all star cast! Cloon, Pitt, Dame, Cheadz and about a dozen others!

We talk about Don Cheadles absolutely horrendous English accent, Clooney being the most handsome man of all time, Pitt being a top number 2, and of course...... BOIF!!

If you like this and want to hear our take on other heist movies... or Tony Scott movies, or Ryan Gosling movies, or MCU movies, or 90s action movies, or about 200 other random episodes, check the link in our instagram or go to patreon.com/whatssogreatabout

This week we're answering such questions as:

We also talk about the passing of beloved pets, the new Robbie Williams movie, how Terry was nearly duped watching his big annual top 25 movie thing, more Kieran Culkin chat, Terry's Gladiator 2 review, footy chat, penis chat, ITS JAM PACKED.

You must be over 18 for the second half of the episode, it gets a little blue.

We're back baby!! And it is a STACKED show.

Die Hard is one of Terry's (and quite likely yours too) favourite movies, its a classic. Andy has only seen it once, and didnt remember too much about it. So, in our annual tradition, we sat down and watched it in full, and if i may say it was a bloody treat.

Die Hard is available on Disney Plus, if you want to watch along with us, although we tried to make this listenable if you are not watching along anyway.

BACK NEXT WEEK!

We are on a little chirstmas break, but FEAR NOT, cos we're unlocking another Patreon episode! Its from our most recent Tony Scott Miniseries, Enemy of the State!!

Will Smith at the peak of his powers, Gene Hackman, Jon Voight, Seth Green, Jack Black, Jason Lee, Gabriel Byrne.... it goes on like this.

Literally everyone is in this. We chat about the BOIF, the backstory, the acting, and the amount of "THAT GUYs" who pop up is mental. A fun one to record, hope yous enjoy!

PS. Its on Disney plus if you want to watch before listening.. and if you want more episodes, we've HUNDREDS over on the patreon, including the rest of this season, and a bunch of other seasons! HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

This week, we're chatting about the CEO killer, Jay Z, some football chat, the magic of a John Williams score, and we even partake in a movie quiz! And then..... our TOP 5 Christmas movies of all time!

Whats yours?!! Yes YOU. Come on tell us!

Its a good old NEW WSGA radio show! We chat about what we've been up to, and we're playing some bangers! Terry's movie watching hotstreak has reached unprecedented numbers, Andy's been doing DIY, and we go through our Spotify Wrapped for 2024!
