Chris & Amy DiMarco are high school sweet hearts who have been married for 32 years.... and they also happen to be my parents! My dad is a professional golfer who has won 3 times on the PGA tour, as well as being a part of two Ryder cups and making the winning putt for the Presidents cup team in 2005. You might be familiar with that epic shot that tiger made in the 2005 masters which might arguably be the greatest shot in golf history, well, that was against my dad. He has had an incredible career in golf, but it all started when my mom and him set out to chase their dreams, she even caddied for him in the early days and NOW he plays on the champions tour with her on the bag, too. There is so much in this episode. Not only is it a way for you guys to understand who I am better by getting to know my parents, but you’re also going to hear so many incredible stories in this episode, from how my parents met in 7th grade, to the early days on tour, to the 2005 masters and more iconic stories from their lives. I mean if there’s one thing about my parents, is that they have so many stories. You’re also going to learn about what it takes to be successful both in career and relationships, how to network and build relationships with other successful people, the behind the scenes of chasing your dream, and wisdom for anyone who wants to make it big. And don't forget — if you like this episode, please give it a rating & review!

It's easy to think that every success happens "overnight" and that the people at the top have never felt the bottom, but the more conversations we have with successful people — and the more we recount our own experiences — the more we realize that every success came after many failures. We believe that every loss is a lesson. Every failure is feedback. So in this episode, we're sharing the times we've burnt the dish so that you know — it's truly just a part of the journey.

If there's anything Lucas & Amanda have learned over the last 10 years of being in a relationship, having kids, & getting married — it's that there are many different ingredients that are needed in order to create a successful dish (aka partnership). Just as my favorite aoili would be nothing without lemon juice & pepper, we would be nothing without these five ingredients. This is our secret sauce.
