This week Sam is joined by Raymond C. Tallis, together they talk about theism, atheism, naturalism, humanism, personhood, consciousness, purpose and the freedom to will.
There are a few technical difficulties with this conversation, such as the audio getting better 20 mins in (roughly) and a slight buzz when Raymond starts to speak, but putting those aside, this is a fascinating conversation and one that I will be coming back to and reflecting on for years to come.
Professor Raymond Tallis is a philosopher, poet, novelist and cultural critic and was until recently a physician and clinical scientist
