Elmo, the well-known Sesame Street character, recently asked his followers on X/Twitter, “How is everybody doing?” In response, “he got an earful,” as CNN reported, with many complaining about the hardship of their lives. Scanning the news, it’s not hard to see why. But there’s hope beyond the headlines if we’ll look in the right direction.
