Sports journalist, podcast host, and motivational speaker, Indya Durham stops by the show to discuss her rise to becoming the official ringside reporter for RWA Pro Wrestling! At just 23, she has already made her mark on the world of sports, earning her bachelor’s degree in Sports Communication from Point Park University in 2024. Immediately after graduation, Indya packed her bags, moved to Los Angeles and worked as an ambassador for the Los Angeles Rams. In addition, she joined the Los Angeles Clippers Hype Squad from 2024-2025. In this episode, Indya touches on several topics including the differences between speaking on social media as an influencer versus speaking on camera during an interview with a professional athlete. One of my favorite parts of the show was when Indya talked about how she navigates the sports industry as a young, Black woman. When she’s not working as a reporter, Indya hosts her podcast called “IndyTalk 101,” where she offers words of wisdom from a faith-based perspective.
