This show combines two past When It Was Cool Patreon specials. First, a biography of the classic southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd who are probably a lot better than you might remember. A lot smarter too. I think many people dismiss Lynyrd Skynyrd as simplistic southern rock but they are actually one of the best and most well written rock bands ever. Their story is tragic but also inspiring. Then we have a review of a recent (2021) concert from the band and where they stand today.

Karl and Tonya are back to review two of their favorite comedy movies: Step Brothers (starring Will Ferral and John C. Riely) and Walk Hard (starring Riely). Step Brothers is a hilariously absurd comedy following two 40-year-old Step Brothers who still live at home with their parents done in the ridiculous Will Ferral style. Walk Hard is equally funny but also a witty look at the history of popular music from the 1940s through the early 2000s. The two movies together give a hilarious look back at pop culture.
