There's been a lot of leg work of planning for a family; going for tests to see if we were infertile, taking prenatal vitamins in advance, game planning financially with my real estate business. Bringing Back Humanity in Business.

In the current markets, sellers and realtors are all seeking for top dollar. Not this transaction...

After losing on multiple offers on other properties, our phones ping with a new listing and within hours we were there to view it. It was love at first sight as we were Facetiming the husband, who was at work. We immediately wrote an offer, knowing that tomorrow is fully booked for showings.

We had the opportunity to express our intentions of this home, in such a genuine and heartfelt way. The sellers didn't even counter our offer! They accepted our initial offer, knowing that they could have gotten $10K+ more.

The power of humanity in business is unbelievable. It shed many tears of gratitude for my clients and I, and one of the most refreshing transactions in this market filled with multiple offers.

There's some characteristics of clients that don't sit right with me, and I've learned that it's okay to walk away. I've walked away from more than I ever thought I could this year, and I've understood my time is better off not working, and taking the time off versus grinding it out trying to please a client that doesn't appreciate it.

I had a pleasure of interviewing Grace Bartley in Vancouver, BC. When Grace's hospitality job took a dive when pandemic hit, she turned her free time into something fun, engaging and enjoyable. Grace is an influencer for fashion, and that's how she stays connected with her daughter in LA! Their relationship and bond is unbreakable as they use Instagram in such a positive way. Grace doesn't focus on the aesthetics, she focuses on moms connecting with their daughters and has inspired so many already. Being a Gen Xer, many doubt and say she's too old to be doing this, but Grace is so focused on the positivity from the people she's touched.

Sherine is an icon for fitness for females in Calgary as a personal trainer. After breaking her leg, Sherine had to take time off from sports and rehabilitate her leg for full recovery. Sherine started going to gym to increase her strength and fitness on and off the field. Eventually, she incorporated various powerlifting movements in her workouts hitting huge numbers for her size. She competed in her first powerlifting meet June 2016 where she placed 1st in her division and achieved the best squat, best deadlift and overall female lifter awards. She also broke the World Record deadlift in her division earning her spot on Team Canada Powerlifting and competing at 100% RAW World Championships in 2016 and 2017. Sherine then began to challenge her fitness levels by competing in figure and fitness competitions. Building a strong physique has allowed her to want to become a personal trainer and teach others on building a healthy lifestyle and self-development.

Sherine is very capable of training individuals from beginner levels to advanced athletes. Everyone starts with a foundation and she is committed to guiding people in the right direction to achieve their health and fitness goals. Sherine believes that when life tries to knock you down, you have the chance to persevere and grow stronger from it. Everyone can improve their strength and confidence by pushing their limits one day at a time.
