When Teens Attack: The Senseless Murder of Reena Virk

In November of 1997, a suburban town outside of Victoria, B.C.is rocked by a shocking attack and death in their community. A teenage girl, who was on the verge of finding herself and her place in this world, finds herself lost in the pull of wanting acceptance from her peers. On what was supposed to be a night hanging out with "friends", Reena Virk is set up and viciously attacked by 8 other teenagers, some of who did not even know her. After being attacked, she dusts herself and goes to head home. She is injured not just by the attack, but by the betrayal of her peers. As she is heading home, believing that the worst is over, she is again attacked by two of the teens, this time unable to get up and never able to return home.
