July 13, 2024:  A Moon-Spica occultation occurs this evening, when the moon eclipses the star. Mercury, Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn are visible during nighttime hours.

July 12, 2024: This morning Mars marches into Taurus.  It appears to Jupiter’s upper right in the eastern sky before sunrise.  Saturn is in the southern sky.

July 10, 2024: Jupiter passes Aldebaran this morning in a wide conjunction.  The planet along with Mars and Saturn are in the morning sky. Look for Mercury and the crescent moon after sundown.

July 9, 2024: This evening the moon makes its final appearance in the western sky with Regulus, Leo’s brightest star.  Jupiter, Mars and Saturn are visible before sunrise.

July 8, 2024: The evening crescent moon is in the western sky after sundown.  Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn are easily visible before sunrise.

July 7, 2024: Before sunrise, morning planets Jupiter and Mars race in the eastern sky.  Saturn is in the south-southeast. After sundown in bright twilight, the crescent moon is near Mercury.

July 6, 2024: Ceres is visible during the night near the handle of the Teapot of Sagittarius.  Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, and Mercury are visible during the nighttime hours.
