July 3, 2024:  This month’s Jupiter-Moon conjunction occurs low in the east-northeast during morning twilight. Jupiter, Moon, and Aldebaran form a rare close grouping.

July 3, 2024: This morning Jupiter, crescent Moon, and Aldebaran gather in a rare close gathering that does not occur again until 2036.

July 2, 2024: Before sunrise, Jupiter, Mars, Crescent Moon, Aldebaran, and the Pleiades star cluster are in the eastern sky.  Mercury is a challenging view after sunset.

July 1, 2024: A Mars-Moon conjunction occurs in the eastern sky during morning twilight. 

July 1, 2024: Before sunrise, Aldebaran makes its first morning appearance or heliacal rising near Jupiter.  Mars, Saturn and the moon are in the region.  Find Mercury after sundown.

June 30, 2024: Saturn begins to retrograde, appear to move westward against the stars.  Jupiter, Mars, Moon, and Saturn are visible before sunrise.

June 29, 2024: Jupiter, Mars, Saturn and the moon parade in the eastern sky before sunrise.  Uranus and Neptune are present, but they are too dim for easy visibility.

June 28, 2024: The Summer Milky Way is visible in the southern sky after twilight ends.  Before sunrise, find Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, and the moon.
