October 4, 2023: The morning gibbous moon is near Taurus.  Venus closes to within 5° of Regulus, Leo’s brightest star, before their conjunction in five mornings.

October 3, 2023: Venus approaches Regulus, Leo’s brightest star, before sunrise.  The gibbous moon is near the Pleiades during the night.

October 2, 2023: Bright Mercury is leaving the eastern sky after its best predawn appearance of the year.  During the evening, the moon is near the Pleiades star cluster.

October 1, 2023: The gibbous moon passes Jupiter during the nighttime hours.  Venus, Mercury, Saturn, and Jupiter are visible during the night.

September 30, 2023: The bright gibbous moon approaches Jupiter.  The lunar orb’s place relative to Jupiter is easy to see from the morning sky to their appearance during the evening.

September 29, 2023: The Harvest supermoon shines in the western sky before sunrise.  The lunar orb appears between Jupiter and Saturn.

September 28, 2023: The Harvest supermoon is in the sky all night beginning at sunset tonight.  Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn are visible during the nighttime hours.

September 27, 2023: Brilliant Venus begins to approach Regulus for a conjunction October 10th.  The waxing gibbous moon nears the Harvey Moon Full moon phase.

September 26, 2023: Find the Sickle of Leo in the east before sunrise.  The moon is with Saturn during the evening hours.

September 25, 2023: After sundown, the gibbous moon approaches Saturn.  Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn are visible during nighttime hours.
