City officials quickly removed a Confederate-friendly monument from Horton Plaza Park downtown. Goat of the Week Our goat this week goes to San Diego Superior Court Judge Gary Kreep. He received a “severe public censure” by the state’s Commission on Judicial Performance – the worst penalty apart from being removed from the bench. Kreep faced 29 charges of misconduct, including making misogynistic comments about female lawyers.
