And while that insatiable curiosity to understand, even though it is filled by a need to connect with someone, to give them goodwill by default, it can sometimes feel one-sided.

Then you might start to wonder: is it just me who puts in the effort to understand the other person?

Why can't they meet me there? And what happens when you hit a threshold of understanding someone else?
