There are seasons in life when everything around us may seem normal, yet internally we feel lost, uncertain, and surrounded by darkness. Psalm 43 shows us how to respond in those moments. The psalmist cries out, “O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me.” Instead of depending on circumstances to change or people to provide direction, he asks God for light and truth. God’s Word provides that light, guiding our steps and drawing us into His presence. When confusion, discouragement, or uncertainty fills your heart, the answer is not found in trying harder to control your situation but in drawing near to God. Spend time in His Word, speak to Him in prayer, and allow His truth to illuminate your path and restore your perspective.
