You know they're only saying it because it's what they're expected to say - but they're trying desperately to convince themselves it's true.

Inside, though, they know they'd much rather be doing something else.

They'd much rather be following their real passion

The seasons are changing right now and, with change so much in the air, the time feels right for us to change things, too.

Change can be uncomfortable - for us, and particularly for those around us.

Some folks close to you might try to talk you out of it...

...not because they care about you, but because they care that you are reminding them they don't have the courage and drive you have.

Don't let their discomfort - or yours - stop you living your life on purpose.

Remember when you were a kid and how, if you wanted a lot, you were told you were being selfish?

Me too.

And we all know it's wrong to be selfish, right?

Well, that stuck with me for decades - right up until I heard my friend Tony tell this story that turned everything on its head!

It's still wrong to be selfish - but it turns out, being selfish is something entirely different from what I thought.
