Matt King is the living embodiment of pushing through the darkness and emerging stronger.

From Northern NSW to the bright lights of Sydney and onwards, Matt had given up the game until one of the greatest coaches brought him back in and his career went skywards from there. 

With 10 international caps to his name and a premiership ring, Matt's journey is an incredible one.

As tall as a forward with the speed of a winger, 'Kingy' was a fan favourite.
