Calgary, Alberta 1936

After witnessing what mightve been a murder, Megan is frantic to escape the Garden of Eden cult, so she catches the night train north out of town. Her lifetime commitment to the cult may well be her death sentence, but shes not sticking around to let them frame her.

Wolf shifters, Les and Karl, eke out a primitive existence on the flanks of the Canadian Rockies. Between Hunters who want to kill them and a wildfire raging out of control, theyre glad when Jed, their clan leader, shows up. And even more delighted when they see whos in his car.

Jeds mate, Alice, spied Megan by the side of the road looking lost and desperate and offered her a ride. Before Jeds car even stops rolling, Les and Karl know shes their mate. So skittish shes barely willing to exit the car, Megan busies herself helping Jed and his pack mates unload supplies. Can Les and Karl convince her to join her life to theirs? If she does, will the risks she faced as a cult member pale in comparison to being mated to shifters?

Title: Wagon Days

Author: Lawrence Winkler

Narrator: Lawrence Winkler

Format: Unabridged

Length: 09:38:44

Language: English

Release date: 11-24-16

Publisher: Authors Republic

Genres: Travel, United States

Summary:

The American West was a notion, not a nation. It was a process, not a place. The native animal and human life of the West was displaced, replaced, and exterminated sixty million bison to make way for European bog animals, billions of passenger pigeons for nothing, and ninety percent of aboriginal native Americans, out of an original population of possibly a hundred million, by accident and design.

Late in the summer of 2013, I set out to find the Old West, what it had been, and what had replaced it. The quest for my own wild panorama would turn wheels of fortune into a movable feast of Wagon Days.

And if this dont get your fire started, your woods wet.
