Reverend Pagan and Crystal Daze have been trading off vacations and trying to stay on top of it as summer kicks in. Unfortunately, during all of this the godhead that is Roky Erickson passed away. It goes without saying we wouldn’t being doing this show, nor would we have a name for this show without him. That being said, Episode 18 “I Have Always Been Here Before” is our tribute to the legend. His life was a story that is hard to imagine, let alone believe, and we are all the better for it! He fought the demons of overuse, systemic abuse and mental health, and always emerged to create art! We can only try to aspire to overcome our demons so often as he did. RIP Roky! We love you!
Special Shout Out To Steven Krakow aka Plastic Crimewave for letting us use his amazing sketch as the Episode art! He really is the best!!!

Today on Where the Eye Meets the Pyramid we sit down with Jeffery Alexander of Dire Wolves. We talk on a number of things, about the recording process, his journey to where he is now, and even get esoteric with some philosophical observations. We also play two Dire Wolves tracks (one past, one future). Before that we run through a set of songs from bands that inspired Jeffery and his crew, and some of think fit with their sound! Turn the dial up and let’s get weird!
