Where There Is Hope

As the world around us remains in a constant state of chaos, it’s good to know God is unmoving, unchanging, steadfast, sure. As we look for safe harbor, he is there. As we aim to please him, the path to do so stays the same. For our children and for our grandchildren, his promises endure.

Have you ever struggled to see the bigger picture in a situation? Is there any hope? Join us on this episode as we study Job, someone who lived a tough life with very little hope, all while not understanding what he was going through.

The world sees Christianity as a collection of freedom restricting rules. But Jesus presented a picture that is the opposite of that. Jesus taught that it was sin that was enslaving man, not the law. Jesus also taught a solution to this worldwide problem: Truth. Join with us as we study how to move from Slaves to Sons.

The Psalms provide much foreshadowing of the life of Jesus. In this episode, we overview a few Psalms which highlight Jesus' suffering and consider how we can find comfort and hope in the fact that He suffered for us. Please join us!

When the Israelites were stuck in Egyptian bondage, they cried out to God for salvation. To be saved the Israelites needed two things from God: a promise and an advocate. Moses arrives as their advocate, frequently pleading Israel’s case to God and reminding God of the promises made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

We are not so different. As we live stuck in bondage to sin and death, we cry out to God for salvation. To be saved we need God’s promise and an advocate. Study with us as we see how God meets these needs.

Please join us in this episode as we look at the life of Joseph, and consider how he trusted God through difficult trials!

We all have 24 hours in a day. We all have 7 days in a week. We all have 52 weeks in a year. But some people are more intentional about their use of time. If we see time as a tool we can use to be better Christians, what kind of impact might that have?

Join us in this episode as we discuss what it means to look up from your shoes, and start looking up at those around you, and look up to the heavens!

Have you ever felt there is no way forward? Giants can do that to us. They block everything in our view and keep us from seeing the light ahead. Join us in this episode as we discuss David and Goliath, and the courage and hope of David.

Because God doesn’t give us every detail, doesn’t always do what we want Him to do, and because God doesn’t tell us his plans for our lives, Faith, Submission, and Trust are challenges for Christians. Study along with us as we discuss how we can better show our love and devotion to God.
