I wasn't expecting the world, but this is laughably bad. The narrator's voice is offputting. instead of offering a pdf for the code he reads it for you... line by line... "open parenthesis, period period period, close parenthesis" it's painful.

You'd be better getting a video tutorial for angular instead. Either way this is not a book to listen to.

From An Illustrator's Viewpoint

Would you try another book from HowExpert Press and Rusty Baker and/or Krystal Wascher?

This was an interesting perspective on the process of writing a children's book, and had some good advice. But it was strictly one author's experience. Also, I think the attitude toward the illustrator was just a little bit condescending. In a children's book, the illustrations are of utmost importance, and they tell the story just as much as the text. The illustrator doesn't work for the author, it has to be a mutual creative process. A single illustration can take weeks to complete, and must be thoughtfully designed to convey the mood or the action necessary for the story.
