Some good tips but gives me the feeling of I just paid for an infomercial

I liked some of the tools and tips provided in the book. Although there are links and recommendations to software and templates I got a sour feeling about being a target of a huge infomercial machine to provide business and reference cash for the author and author company. That feeling diminished the value and credibility of the information. Just read it with a critical mind.

Very basic information

Call me goodbye this information if you have very little marketing experience. The book is not intended for more sophisticated marketers.

funny, entertaining.... but no real meat

I enjoyed listening to this audio, but found that it didn't really contain information that is extremely helpful. alot of common sense stuff that might help a beginner agent.

Good and funny insights into the mind of a Realtor

The book is not 100% full of good Real Estate info but more of a quick, humorous, book in to the mind and daily life of an experienced realtor. If you're considering becoming one or even working with one, it is a good book to read. The female narrator did well in executing the spirit of the book. I am a hobbiest and read a lot of Real Estate investing books. This one was a refreshing change.

Trying too hard to be funny, missing the point

Honestly more concrete stories and recommendations. The author was trying to hard to make the reader laugh and after a while it was just like hearing the same joke over and over again. I don't feel like this was a good read for the new agent, wanna be, or used to be. As a new agent, I don't think I would have gleaned more than a couple of insights that would help me run my business.

This book wasnt for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I listened through to the end of the book looking for the "gem" that I might take away from giving my 30 minutes to this listen. It didn't happen. It is entry level information and didn't provide me with a piece of actionable advice. If you haven't read any books on selling artwork you might find this useful.

I really loved this book in 2012 and I really thought it would be great as I was trying a new career move. But honestly this didn't help at all. I also wasn't crazy about the narrator as I often fell asleep. I think you need this in a book form in order to get the full benefit of it. I had to keep rewinding to write points down. Would you try another book from Paul VII and/or Christian Carvajal?

No to Paul. Seems like he's just mass-producing one-sheets as audiobooks. Maybe to Christian. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he was prepped badly.

What was most disappointing about Paul VIIs story?

Never have I heard the table of contents read aloud in an audiobook. The rest of the book was the same content again with one or two additional oneliners. Zero depth or insight into anything. Quite disappointing.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Christian Carvajal?

I don't think anyone could have done a good job with this.

Not really. Quite bad that this is the only audiobook that comes up when you search for "kanban". I think it does a disservice to the concept.

If you're going to post an audiobook about kanban, it would be good to prep your narrator with how to pronounce "kanban". Reads like a very short powerpoint deck written at a high-school level, with just as much usable content. Overall it's embarassing and amateurish.

Short, clear, what you need to start

Great overview over Kanban methodology. If you are already familiar with agile management such as scrum, this short audiobook gives you some clear points.

I have quite some experience in the topic and thought this book could have some valuable (advanced information) but it is quite simple and clearly for beginners.

Would you consider the audio edition of The 7 Triggers to Yes to be better than the print version?

The audio edition adds another dimension to this important topic by allowing the listener to learn while otherwise engaged, for example in exercise or driving. This capability is enhanced by the fact that the subject matter, though based on the latest scientific principles, is explained in simple, easy to understand language. Also having the book provides the listener the ability to further directly reference the subject matter.

I have read several management books but none that are so readily usable by managers, sales people, or for that matter, any individual who finds it necessary to persuade others.

What does Tom Parks bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

Mr. Parks brings the subject to life, adding a level of personal involvement that one does not usually bring to books they read.

It is not the kind of book to create an extreme reaction, but I was pleased to see a subject that is so important-whether in business or personal life-explained so simply.
