Where We Were When

This week, Heidi and Justin take a look at two VERY dark comedies from two huge 80s comedy stars that completely came out of left field. The first is Dan Akyroyd's magum opus, NOTHING BUT TROUBLE, which he wrote AND directed. If you've never seen it before... buckle up. The second is Tom Hanks in THE BURBS, which came directly after BIG and threw A LOT of 80s kids for a complete loop. Heidi also gets a special gift from an old Blockbuster friend. (Holy shit! We've made 10 of these!)

The gals opine about their teenage feelings for Leonardo DiCaprio and Jake Gyllenhaal, and they chat about which soundtrack you'd want to lose your virginity to. Also, Melissa pitches Heidi a hilarious sketch that is not at all like one Justin pitched Heidi in Episodes 4 & 5.

For our premiere episode, we're taking a look back at two movies that stirred up Heidi's penchant for mischief and piqued her interest in improv comedy. Back to the Future: Part 3 proved an unexpected opportunity for some juvenile, candy-based mayhem. And the cult classic Waiting for Guffman fostered a passion for performance-based telephone fraud. Come along with us as we reminisce about "where we were when".
