Tensions continue to grow within the Coalition over its stance on climate action.

Senator Jonno Duniam is the latest Liberal frontbencher to cast doubt over the Opposition's current net zero by 20-50 pledge, warning there could be a "mass exodus" if it pursues the target at "any cost". 

Colleague and Shadow Communications Minister Melissa McIntosh says it is vital the Liberal Party gets its energy policy "right".
