On Wednesdays, we listen to the latest episode of "Where's the Mic"! In the second episode of our acting series, we discuss the iconic film "Mean Girls". As this film is filled with incredible quotes we had to dissect them all and try to understand what makes this film just so fetch.
However, as it's "Where's the Mic", we obviously had to find the theme of this episode, and in doing so discuss; Lindsay Lohan, PG films, High School, cliques, animal kingdoms, housewives, friends vs enemies, egomaniacs, social outcasts, cult films, toxic friendships and what makes a Queen B.

Hereeee's the 8th episode of "Where's the Mic"! This is an incredibly exciting episode as it's not only the first of our acting series in which we will be taking famous movie quotes, but we have a fantastic guest to bring on to introduce the series - Jonny Kemp!
We know Jonny from drama school as a wonderful performer and teacher, but in this episode we interview him on his career, the different approaches to acting and the contrasting worlds of film and theatre performances. We also cover; "The Black and White Team Room", cultural life in Seoul, good vocal training, misconceptions around actors, the Jonny Carson show, method acting, improvisation, Shelley Duvall, the "marathon man", child actors, the horror genre, and most importantly what makes "The Shining" such an iconic movie.

It’s time for the seventh episode of "Where's the Mic"! As we’re sure you’ve all been waiting with bated breath for the newest release, we thought we would play with the idea of “waiting rooms” and look at the idea of “The Grey Zone”.
We power through a lot of material in this episode, as there’s just so many ways in which this concept applies, including; the G7 summit, the series "The Morning Show", sexual harassment, situationships, physical vs emotional cheating, the iConsent App, marital rape, dark humour, O.J. Simpson, mistrials, Johny Depp & Amber Heard, gossip, and ruined reputations.
