I have a lot to say about the RC Monster Jam World Finals. Some about the racing and freestyle, but mostly about the experience. What an amazing event they put on for the pit party.

When it comes to the RC Hobby, we all make mistakes along the way. Don't let it get you down. Learn from it and move on. My mistake was pretty big and during a time when I needed to be getting things ready for a big race. Instead...I had to tear down the truck and repair it.  Lesson learned. What RC Mistakes have you made that you've learned from.

First, I want to thank Dana Surrette for telling me to keep up the podcast last night, because it reminded me that I had recorded this episode earlier this week. I've been working with custom-made mini RC monster trucks for the past year and now have the new Furitek Rampart kit in hand. It's a thing of beauty. 

Are you feeling bored or disconnected with the RC Hobby? I've been there, but I don't know if it's actually boredom or a mind game that's going on inside. I'm still actively engaged, but don't feel as plugged in as I normally do because I'm focusing on a different element of the hobby, but thinking about the one I was plugged into months ago. It's a weird spot to be in and it's easier to deal with if you just call it out.  Let's talk about that.

It's been a tough final week as I work to get my Tiny Gappin' It Build ready to throw down it's run time for the competition. Weather has SUCKED! Honestly weather or not...I procrastinated because of other "life" things that took priority over playing with toy cars. The show must go on–Rain or Shine...or Snow (which we just had last night).  Video entries are due by March 27, 2022 by 11:59 PDT.

In this episode, I'll be answering questions that came in from Instagram and talking about why I think the Redcat Kaiju is one of the "best bang for you buck bashers". 

We're into week 4 of the Tiny Gappin' It Build Off series and I finally got to put my build on the ground to test it. The goal is top speed within the 90' x 12' area. I tested my speed and was a bit disappointed.  We did extend the deadline to March 27th to allow for more testing and tuning videos so it isn't a one and done build.
