A bumper length episode celebrates the 10th instalment of Whisky Unscripted as the two Gordon's welcome Katy Muggeridge, Brand Manager of Glengoyne to take part in The Insider's Guide To Making And Selling Scotch Whisky.  Katy lifts the lid on what's involved in managing one of Scotland's finest whisky brands and also helps out with the rather tricky A-Z's of Scotch Whisky which this week lands on the letter 'J'.

Derek Mather of The Artisan Restaurant in Wishaw shares his 'Whisky Moments', and The Year That Changed Whisky takes us to year 1853.

Tastings include the Glengoyne Cask Strength 7, 12 year old Rosebank Flora and Fauna and the Glengoyne 10.

Whisky Unscripted Episode 6

In this episode, the two Gordons chat to Emma Newton, Assistant Blender at Ian Macleod Distillers, asking questions galore about the art of blending, the challenges of blending and, of course, how she became a blender, getting to sample and nose whisky all day!

 In A-Z’s of Scotch Whisky, we reach letter ‘F’ which throws up a multitude of key words and Gordon Dallas looks into the importance of 1860 in the “Year that changed Whisky” as we know it today.

Ahead of World Whisky Day, the 2 Gordons introduce the second part of Episode 5 which featured Neil Ridley and Joel Harrison, authors of Distilled as well as regulars on Ch4's Sunday Brunch.   The conversation and whisky were flowing so well last week it was decided to divide it up into two parts but not before Dundas and Dallas look ahead to the weekend with some World Whisky Facts and the now legendary 20 second hand wash challenge.
