Ro: Înțelesesem că unele momente ne unesc, chiar dacă ne aflam la kilometri distanță.
En: I understood that some moments unite us, even if we are kilometers apart.

Ro: Era un weekend de toamnă, iar copacii și-au scuturat frunzele arămii pe străzi.
En: It was a fall weekend, and the trees had shed their copper leaves onto the streets.

Ro: Mă aflam în sala de lectură a unei biblioteci vechi, locul nostru preferat.
En: I was in the reading room of an old library, our favorite place.

Ro: Aici, Mihai și cu mine, ne ascundeam de lume și ne pierdeam în paginile cărților preferate.
En: Here, Mihai and I would hide from the world and lose ourselves in the pages of our favorite books.

Ro: Eram înconjurată de aroma de cărți vechi, atât de familiară și plăcută.
En: I was surrounded by the scent of old books, so familiar and pleasant.

Ro: Am răsfoit una dintre cărțile noastre preferate, un roman plin de aventuri și visuri.
En: I flipped through one of our favorite books, a novel full of adventures and dreams.

Ro: Deodată, am dat peste o filă îngălbenită și un mesaj scris de mână: "Acolo unde ne întâlnim, rămânem mereu.

Ro: "Inima mi s-a oprit pentru o clipă.

Ro: Imediat m-am gândit că poate am pierdut ceva important între noi.
En: Immediately, I thought that maybe I had missed something important between us.

Ro: Raluca, prietena mea cea mai bună, m-a încurajat să fac acest pas și mi-a promis că va fi alături de mine.
En: Raluca, my best friend, encouraged me to take this step and promised she would be there for me.

Ro: Pe drumul spre bibliotecă, frunzele crăpate de sub talpă și mirosul îmbietor al castanelor coapte îmi aduceau aminte de toamnele petrecute cu Mihai.
En: On the way to the library, the cracked leaves underfoot and the enticing smell of roasted chestnuts reminded me of the autumns spent with Mihai.

Ro: Ajunsă acolo, am explorat sălile în tihnă, căutând un colț al bibliotecii unde obișnuiam să citim împreună.
En: Once there, I quietly explored the rooms, searching for a corner of the library where we used to read together.

Ro: Am găsit locul.
En: I found the place.

Ro: Un mic raft ascuns în spatele unei geamuri cu vitralii.

Ro: "Ochii mi se umpluseră de lacrimi.
En: My eyes filled with tears.

Ro: M-am așezat și am decis să îi scriu și eu lui Mihai.
En: I sat down and decided to write to Mihai as well.

Ro: În mesajul meu, mi-am pus sufletul pe hârtie.
En: In my message, I poured my soul onto the paper.

Ro: Am scris despre dor, despre noi și despre cum simțeam că e momentul să fac primul pas spre reconciliere.
En: I wrote about longing, about us, and about how I felt it was time to take the first step toward reconciliation.

Ro: Cu biletele noastre ca martori și cu dorul împărtășit pe hârtie, am simțit cum distanța dintre noi dispărea.
En: With our notes as witnesses and the shared longing on paper, I felt the distance between us disappear.

Ro: M-am ridicat, privind pe fereastră către toamna aurie și m-am simțit mai ușoară, știind că noi, Andreea și Mihai, încă avem o poveste de scris împreună, indiferent cât de apăsătoare fusese distanța sau tăcerea dintre noi.
