White Boys Heart Movies

Up top the white boys ramble about politics in a pretty non-specific way so feel free to skip to 17:55 if you don’t want to hear that. Then, after agreeing there were no new movies they wanted to see that week, Matt and Jason decided to talk about two all time great comedies: Duck Soup and Back to School. This leads them to talk wanderingly about The Marx Brothers, their influence on Jewish comedians of all stripes (including Rodney Dangerfield), Roger Ebert, and probably some other stuff. Enjoy. 

After seeing the trailer for it at every other movie this summer, the white boys go back to the movies and see the socially conscious horror sequel Candyman. They also discuss 70s classic The Last Detail and the underwhelming phenomenon that was My Big Fat Greek Wedding. 

This week's low energy episode starts with some in-poor-taste references to Afghanistan before these piece of sh*t White Boys discuss two movies about piece of sh*t cops: Bad Lieutenant and Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans. 

These two dummies went and saw The Green Knight--directed by David Lowery and starring Dev Patel--and give you their thoughts (Matt pretended to like it but Jason is honest) 

They also talk about Tropic Thunder, fake medical experts, chopped cheeses, the unstoppable march of time, Jason's tough day, and the difficulty of putting a stupid duvet into a dumb duvet cover.

The White Boys went and saw M. Night Shyamalan's OLD and aged two hours watching it and another one hour talking about it. Jason liked it quite a bit. Matt was a little more lukewarm. They get into it. 

Also they were pretty annoyed with each other when they recorded so you can hear some of that hostility in the pod. Check it out!

They also talk about seeing nudity in movies you're watching with the family, comedy casino contests, Italian car rides, and probably other stuff. I don't remember. Enjoy!

The White Boys return to the movie theaters for the first time to see Pig, produced by and starring Nicolas Cage. They then wax poetic about Nic Cage's career, restaurant worker fight clubs, and writing a gospel theme song for the pod. Spoilers!
