In Galatians 4:1-20 we learn that if we have become God's children by faith, we are called to leave our life of slavery behind and let Christ be formed in us.
In this week's Sermon Extra, Pastors Nick and Michael discuss Galatians 3:3 and our tendency to seek sanctification through our own efforts rather than continuing to depend on God's grace. They explain why spiritual growth cannot be produced by self-effort, but comes through the same grace by which we were saved. Finally, they explore Galatians 3:8, showing how God's promise to Abraham ultimately finds its fulfillment in Jesus Christ.
In Galatians 3:1–14, Paul reminds us to rest in God's grace rather than striving to earn His favor through our works.
In this week's Sermon Extra, Pastors Nick and Mike discuss why Peter's actions in Galatians 2 differ from Paul's approach in 1 Corinthians 9, what it means to faithfully contextualize the gospel, and how to recognize the difference between wise contextualization and compromise.
In Galatians 2:11-21 we see that the truth of the gospel calls us to leave behind our old identities and live out the new life we have received in Christ.
In this week's Sermon Extra, Pastors Stephen and Michael discuss why every Christian has a story worth sharing. They explore the importance of telling others what God has done in your life, how your testimony can encourage family and friends, and how God's grace transforms us into faithful followers of Christ.
In Galatians 1:11-2:10, we see that God's grace transforms our lives, establishes us in His truth, and unites us to reach others with the good news of Jesus.
In this week's Sermon Extra, Pastors Nick and Michael discuss what the Bible teaches about heavenly rewards. If salvation is entirely by grace through faith, why does Scripture also speak of being judged according to our works? Do rewards in heaven undermine the gospel of grace, or do they reveal something important about God's purposes for His people?
In Galatians 1:1-10 we see that the true gospel is the message of God's grace, and it shapes the way we relate to God, ourselves, and others.
In this episode of Mission Extra, Pastor Michael sits down with Dan and Andrea Ryder, White Fields Community Church missionaries serving with CRU in Buenos Aires, Argentina. For more than 25 years, the Ryders have faithfully invested in the next generation of Argentine leaders, equipping them to know Christ, proclaim the gospel, and make disciples. Join us as they share stories of God's faithfulness, the unique opportunities and challenges of ministry in Argentina, and their vision for raising up disciples who will impact their nation for Jesus Christ.
