Coordinator of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Stephaine Nobles-Beans presents "Peter's Experiences of Jesus: Jesus the Lord of Creation."

Temple Grandin presents a lecture, "Understanding Animal Behavior." Grandin has designed humane handling systems for half the cattle-processing facilities in the U.S. and is a consultant with the meat industry in developing animal-welfare guidelines. In this presentation, Grandin draws from her years of research and her own experience with autism to provide insights into how animals think, act and feel.

Temple Grandin presents a lecture, "Helping Different Kinds of Minds to Be Successful," as the featured speaker of Whitworth's Gifted Education Institute. Grandin is the most accomplished and well-known adult with autism in the world. In this lecture she shares her personal story, as well as her insights into the vibrant population known as twice-exceptional children.

Campus Pastor Mindy Smith presents "Peter's Experiences of Jesus: Jesus the Powerful and Loving Shepherd."

Anita Perez Ferguson presents a lecture, "The Inconsolable Voter." Perez Ferguson is an educator in program management and the development of leadership and advocacy skills. She has served as a visiting fellow for the Woodrow Wilson Foundation and as a specialist for the U.S. Department of State's Office of International Information Programs. She co-wrote "Women Seen and Heard" (2004).

Dwight Hopkins, Ph.D., presents an African American History Month lecture, "What Is a Christian Black Theology of Liberation?" Hopkins is a professor of theology at the University of Chicago Divinity School and term professor extraordinarius at the University of South Africa.

Dean of Spiritual Life and Campus Pastor Forrest Buckner presents "Peter's Experiences of Jesus: Jesus the Healer and Deliverer."

Gregory Wolfe presents a lecture. An advocate for Christian humanism, Wolfe is the founder and editor of "Image" journal and is writer-in-residence at Seattle Pacific University. His books include "Beauty Will Save the World: Recovering the Human in an Ideological Age" and "Intruding Upon the Timeless: Meditations on Art, Faith, and Mystery."
