  • 30. A Proverb A Day Keeps The Devil Away!
A proverb a day keeps the devil away. As much as I wish that were true, it's not. There is no remedy or bible reading that keeps the devil or hard times away, but there is good news. For the challenges of life, there is a book of wisdom and understanding in the Fear of the Lord. This chapter in Proverbs 18 I guarantee will improve your life if you heed its wisdom. More importantly, if you not only read the Proverbs every day there are 31 chapters of Proverbs, so that's a proverb a day in a month. Well if you read every day but give your life to Jesus the proverbs will mean so much more. It's my prayer that you will get some laughs and be encouraged in the wisdom of the Lord and His written book of Proverbs.

  • 29. Church Hurt, Healing, and Hope: Naty (returning guest Ep. 25) and I talk about getting burned by churches in the past.
Natalie Marie and I sit down and talk in this part two of Naty Dares... Wins episode recorded in 2020. Naty shares her experience with grief, belief, and healing. Healing from church hurt takes time. Many people including myself have put so much faith in the church. I love the church and on many episodes, I have talked about church culture good and bad. In this episode though Naty didn't have a graceful exit and it wounded her for a long time. Please allow this episode to encourage you and validate your experience with church pain. I want to encourage you there is more for you. I know this personally. So enjoy this talk on ethics and culture.

  • 28. Prophetic Wisdom & Understanding, Words of Knowledge, and Faith in Jesus.
I share from my heart concerning the Holy Spirit. The plan was to read Proverbs 18 but Holy Spirit had other plans. That will happen from time to time, you'll be doing one thing and God does another. Stick around for it. There was an amazing moment during this podcast when I felt God teaching. If you ever wondered about the prophetic or had questions. I believe this episode answers those deep mysteries. I really believe you will be blessed by this episode. Thank you for listening I would love to hear from you. Contact info below. Email [email protected] Instagram @jpislavished @jpdareswins

  • 27. Looking at May 2020 and the Summer of Resistance, (BLM, Conservativism, Injustice, Opportunity, and Jesus)
I reflect on May 2020 and my evolution with BLM, Conservativism, Injustice, Opportunity, and Jesus. Thanks so much for listening. I really encourage you to listen because there is a lot of nuance in this country right now and we aren't talking about it. There is oppression and there are opportunities, there is race-related injustice and there is also racial progress and racial healing happening.

  • 26. Bodhi Dares... Wins (Bodhi Kolwaite)
Bodhi (Shosani), is my friend that I met in 2019 when I first began as a student at the Global School of Supernatural Ministry (GCSSM). I have an episode about Bodhi called Shosani it's one of my most listened to episodes. Bodhi and I recorded this on November 2nd, 2020. Some of the content may be dated as it was before the election etc... I love Bodhi so much he's been such an encouragement to me as a young man. We have often talked about the climate of our culture and everything related to gender, depression, mental health, Jesus and justice, etc. I'm excited to release this episode on New Year's Eve because I want to end this year strong with hope, encouragement and vision for 2021. As you listen to Bodhi he was 17 at the time of this recording and he just recently turned 18. But, last year when we met he was 16, depressed, running away, and without hope. That night God saved his life and empowered him to know who he is and to know his purpose even in the pain. I'm hoping that listening to this message from Bodhi will empower anyone who experiences loss, depression, anxiety, mental health and scepticism of the health care facilities. Bodhi is by far the most amazing young man I have ever met. Ladies, gentlemen and people Bodhi Kolwaite!!! Happy New Year and thanks for listening!!!

  • 25. Naty Dares... Wins: Conversations with Naty Marie
I met Naty last September at a Randy Clark event called, "Cultivate Revival" in New York City. Naty and I immediately got along and connected in many ways. Since meeting at Cultivate Revival we have done a lot of life together. Naty walks in the prophetic gifts more commonly known in the charismatic circles. She believes in the power of God to heal and restore and carries a gift for deliverance. Her friendship in my life blessed me, healed areas of my heart, and empowered me to grow as a leader.  I wanted to have Naty share her story about growing up in Miami, getting saved, the highs and lows of being a part of church planting, and also the recovery and healing. This is part 1 of Naty's story. I really believe you will be blessed by her life.
You can find Naty on her IG platforms @naywithlove @natywithlove_

  • 24. Connectivity During a Time of Corona
Tonight Antoneo (Neo) Hernandez and I got to catch up and really connect. I haven't seen Antoneo since March when the pandemic first shut the entire world down. My conversation tonight really impacted me on a simple truth: connectivity. I was so touched by Antoneo sharing with me about his thoughts and feelings about connectivity during a time of coronavirus that I had to record it. I pray that you are encouraged to reach out and call someone you love and let them know you appreciate them. I truly believe God is going to bless you as you do this small act of community and connection. If you loved what you heard follow me on Spotify and give me a 5-star rating on Apple Podcast. Thanks, Anchor for this platform.

  • 23. JP The Activist: Addressing Protest Culture
I gave my life to Jesus in 1998. I was 19 years old. Naturally at an age like 19, I was lead by many emotions and angst as a teenager. This episode speaks to the angst, conversion, questions, then rage, then repentance of my walk with God from 98 to 2016. I don't discuss all of the events that took place, I mostly discuss the events and thoughts that I had from 2002 to 2016. In 2003 I entered college as a non-traditional student and that really shifted my world view for many years. I think it's important to be honest and transparent about our maturation. As I got older I saw my politics and my convictions change. In 2016 I had an encounter with God that really shifted and clarified so much for me. This is part 1 of a working series on my progression and politicization. I thought it was important because in this political season many are chomping at the bit to gain our attention and I believe we can be lead by our emotions easily, as I was. I share in-depth about how emotions can seem like facts when in all honesty they're just indicators for a deeper truth we need to look at.

  • 22. Ronny Dares... Wins: Conversations with Ron J
I met Ronny in DC at a restaurant near the national mall on October 25th after Sean Feucht's #LetUsWorship #prayerfulprotest. Ronny is an amazing young man, he has a wonderful story and I ask you to have an open mind as he shares with me about his own political journey and how went from a BLM activist to a MAGA supporter.  Ronny is active in the DC region sharing his heart on social change and being a neighbor. He's a believer in SGI Buddhism which I didn't know about. I just found our meeting and conversation to be so inspiring and encouraging. The very reason I went to DC in October was to pray and meet new people. This is what Who Dares... Wins is all about facing our fear because we have nothing to lose but our fear. This is also abut giving people a voice for their heart. You may disagree with Ron and I but have an open mind and enjoy the dialogue.
Connect with Ronny on IG @ronjspike
Ronny also has an event on December 12th at 8 p.m. a MAGA March Bonfire, you can contact Ronny for more info on his IG.
