Who Dat Rises Up: Sports Talk With a Gay Twist

Another fun episode as we wish Glenn a happy 42nd birthday. Plus, plenty of NFL trade and off-season to discuss. We talk NBA  heading into the All-Star weekend break. Also, Kenny personally calls BS on JJ Watts shenanigans and we give a full throated argument for player empowerment. We love you Naomi Osaka.   

The Kansas City Chiefs got boat raced so now the quarterback carousel begins. Is this the dawn of player empowerment for the NFL? And Brett Farve...Thank you but please go have seat and drink a glass of tea. And as always, drank in hand. Queer shenanigans generally follow with Kenny and Glenn. Apparently, Glenn has a new baddy daddy on the Chicago Bulls. Take a look, you probably need one guess. This was a fun and heart felt episode. Please join us. 

Season two comes back with a bang and we hit the ground running. We had a lot of fun this episode but that tends to happen when we indulge in the sauce before recording. Plenty of NFL talk including Aaron Rodgers and the myth of unconditional loyalty. The MLB hall of fame telling Kurt Schilling " You can't sit with us!" NBA preview and the daycare center open up in Brooklyn with the Nets. Giving you much more hilarious queer sports shit. Rest in power Hank Aaron. We also get into so vulnerable discussion about queer people of color  and the experience of existing at the intersection of communities. We are humbled and proud to kick off season two. Enjoy!

We made it a whole season and we are humbled by the reception. We bring you the boozy finale (I'm sure you wouldn't expect anything less). And, lots of fun talk about the crazy NFL playoff weekend to come. We break down some college football and, of course, the College Football Championship...Assuming its actually played on Monday. We talk LSU sexual misconduct scandal and toxic masculinity. Lots of NBA free agency and Draft. And, the rise of the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals. Conversely, the fall of the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings and Baltimore Ravens....Also, leave the crazy ones alone when they show it to you. And, if you are the crazy....you know who are...soft peddle that shit. 

Covid-19 keeps proving she runs the world in 2020...College Football seems to be the last to figure it out. Is the College Football Playoff going to be strapped to together with duct tape and gorilla glue. Will 4 teams be able cull together enough wins and limp to a respected title. Sense the tone to guess my temperature on the subject.....Unless Alabama wins it all of course....  because... you know....that's shameless sports fandom.  Plus, My sister's internet sucks so  Glenn and I trying to fumble through technical difficulties in this episode tickles me to know end. 

We went longer than usual but this was one of the best episodes of Season 1. We discuss the worst kept secret about homophobic men. Sports as our joyful reprieve from all the stress these coming days will bring. Welcome Pac 12 back and a lot of college football. Honest and humanist takes on Justin Turner...they're still going to throw the book at him. And, we discuss where the NFL and midseason reactions. Oh yea, and Kevin Kiermaier.....Don't ask my neighbor-come to me. Don't be afraid of what you see.
