Romans 6:6 reminds us that our old sinful nature was crucified with Christ so that we no longer have to serve sin. Before Christ, we were enslaved to sin, it was our nature. But now, as new creations, we are free to live differently. Serving sin is a choice, not a requirement, and in Christ we can walk in freedom, victory, and purpose. The question we must ask ourselves is simple: who do you serve? Your sin nature, or your Savior?
