From time-to-time, I try to explain the amount risk the average person has in the stock market through their 401K, IRA or other equity accounts. I often struggle to get them to grasp just how precarious and fragile our system is. Most people think of our economy as a huge pyramid with a tremendous base making it very solid, and the economy is like that. However, half of every transaction in the economy is money (or fiat currency) which distorts the economy and dramatically increases its fragility. It would be more accurate to imagine an upside down pyramid where massive debts and leverage are producing an ever increasing pressure on a very tiny base. Geoffrey Gundlach is an expert at exploiting this system for value and it says a lot that he is not seeing much value anywhere, in any asset class.

One of the things that we learned from Elon Musk and DOGE is that the Federal Budget funnels billions of tax dollars to politically favored NGOs for all kinds of pet projects. Of course, these recipients are not receiving this money directly from the government. It is laundered through a complex web of NGOs and non-profits run by well-connected government friendlies for political purpose ranging from overthrowing problematic governments in foreign countries, to Antifa like groups that appear to mobilize in a moments notice and protest some Republican policy and action. The LA Riots seem to be just another scam to insnare Donald Trump in violating the Constitution or the rights of citizens around the country. The Democrats are screaming about how citizens are making their voices heard, when really they are just hired guns to sew chaos and confusion.

I love the movies series The Terminator. At the time of its release it was wildly implausible but with technology today, it seems much likely to become reality. Predicting the future is very difficult and fraught with many twists and turns that make it virtually impossible. Much has made about AI and what it holds for our future. I think I can say with great confidence, that AI will be a huge driver of our productivity and standard of living in the future, but there are potential risks that AI develops in a way that it carries out its own goals irrespective of what the human race desire. This is potentially a very dangerous blind spot that we have and will need address sooner rather than later.

Anyone with eyes could see that President Joe Biden was suffering with some sort of mental decline. We were assured that he was healthy, had comprehensive physical examinations by doctors, and was cleared for active duty time and time again. Now we know that he is in the advanced stages of prostate cancer that has metastasized to his bones. We also know that a special council refused to prosecute him for corruption crimes because he is, "Well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory." These facts point to a cabal of staffers that were purposefully concealing his declining health from the public, likely criminally so. Are we going to learn anything more about who led this effort and what policies were carried out under the guise of legitimacy? Not likely.

I know the title of this episode seems like an exaggeration and there will be much more testing but it's really difficult to be surprised by this news given what we knew about the mRNA technology. A study from Sweden out of Lund University has shown that in-vitro the COVID-19 shot does, in fact, change the Human Genome. What this could mean put simply, is that many of those among us are no longer fully human. This is all making much more sense given what people like Dr. Yuval Noah Harari was saying in talks around WEF circles prior to the pandemic. This almost sounds like something out of a science fiction Hollywood movie but is now becoming very real for hundreds of millions, if not billions of people around the globe.
