This week, I am proud to *finally* have my little sister, Grace, join the show.  Gracie just recently graduated from Plymouth State University's musical theater program, and just wrapped her first performance post college as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family.

Although Grace isn't a whiskey drinker, I decided to put Gracie through a blind tasting of four popular Buffalo Trace bourbons - Weller Special Reserve, Eagle Rare, Blanton's, and a special mystery bourbon.  Grace ranks the 4 whiskeys and talks us through what she smells & tastes on each.

We also talk about why Grace got into musical theater, her favorite broadway shows and performers, her past roles, why she's the Aquafina of musical theater, and much more!

This week, I am joined by my cousin Tessa to sip the two bottles that we won during the silent auction of the 2023 Bourbon Ball - Ardbeg 19yr ' Traigh Bhan' and Lagavulin 14yr, specially selected by Jordan Paisley, distillery manager at Lagavulin.

Tessa, as some of you may know, is the daughter of my Uncle Craig and the wife of my cousin John, both of whom passed away.  Tessa and I recap the Bourbon Ball and talk about dealing with death and suicide, all while sipping some incredibly rare scotch.

This was a heavy episode, but an episode I enjoyed recording.   We do our best to float in as many jokes as we can in between the morbid talk.  I hope you guys enjoy it as well.

Howdy!  It's been a bit since I've recorded a podcast.  I've been traveling a lot in the last 6 weeks, but I am finally back home and gearing up for a lot more content soon.

This week, I recap the 2023 Bourbon Ball, held at Castle & Ket Distillery and The Kentucky Castle on June 30th & July 1st.  We were able to raise thousands of dollars for Folds of Honor.
