#2) Decide for Yourself

Jesus asked: Who do you say that I am?

·       First—Begin with the Bible. “You are the Messiah (Christ)…” John 1:1, “In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God. And the Word was God.” “And the Word became flesh…Jesus Christ”.

·     Secondly—Look to the Father. “…the Son of the living God.” John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.”

·     Finally—Be open to Jesus. “You are blessed, Simon, son of John, because my Father in Heaven revealed this to you.”

Philippians 2:10-11 (NASB) “at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Matthew 10:32, “Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.”
