A Laissez-faire economy relies on natural incentives to drive human behavior which results in the most efficient market.  Free market economists argue that any attempt to centrally control or direct the economy serves only to create inefficiencies.

Why should we believe the rules of human behavior suddenly change when applied to the use of violence?

If no laws exist, is there a natural action -> consequence that rules over mankind?

Must we feign surprise when a Uvalde Police Officer says she would have disobeyed orders and gone into the school to take out the shooter if her children were in the school, or can we acknowledge reality?
