August 26th is National Women's Equality Day, which commemorates the passage of the 19th Amendment that gave women the right to vote. This year marks the 100th anniversary of this historic event and is a day worth celebrating how far we've come with women's rights and a time to recognize the work still to be done.
In this episode, we give some history behind all the efforts that led up to the passage of the 19th Amendment and celebrate the advancements of women. But we also take a look in- reflecting on ways that our hearts can be more pro-women and how we can support all women. Then we take a look out - and see the work yet to be done so that women of all races and backgrounds can achieve the American dream and offer simple ways you can join in those efforts.
