Sometimes, it feels like telling our story—being 100% who we are—is the only way to cause any change in the world. In the wake of the Orlando/Pulse shooting, Ray shares "I Tapped My Husband's Back" and Charles Aznavour's "What Makes a Man" from the 2014 production of TingleTangle, a show he conceived and performed during his tenure as Associate Artistic Director of Theater Ninjas that leveraged stories from his journey with sexuality and marriage equality to show how oppressive laws and hate speech effect the queer population. He then shares the impact that receiving the 2016 Creative Workforce Fellowship is having on his life, as he begins a summer of travel and study.
