Is Virginia Jones a witch? Who can be sure!! Welcome to our first official Mormon episode. Comedian Virginia Jones grew up in Plano, Texas as a Mormon/ punk/ goth and we try try try to figure out how that happens. This episode is both hilarious and educational.

Jenny Zigrino is a delightfully hilarious comedian who also happens to be a ray of sunshine! The crew learned about the magic of Les Brown, the complications of Tony Robbins, how you should start your day so that you don't want to die, body and diet culture, and gossip! A great episode to listen to if you need some positivity in your life. 

Stephen Agyei is a comedy powerhouse out of Colorado. His Ghanaian parents didn't exactly want him to be a comedian but it was so interesting hearing what he's taken from their culture. Raised by a Catholic dad and a lapsed Jehovah's Witness mother, Stephen came out only believing in himself. Steve talks and also burps a lot in this episode, and Amy is very funny.

Ryan Singer is a hilarious comic out of Ohio (He's been on WTF w/ Marc Maron, HEARD OF IT??!), but if you spend a couple of minutes with him, you'll know that his true passion is the PARANORMAL. A Mexican American son of immigrants meets a nurse fresh off the plane from Ireland, they move to Texas, and they make an excellent comedian. We talked LOTS of comedy, superstitions, and most importantly, what's made around the corner from milk milk lemonade. 

Comedian Ryan Conner grew up outside of DC as one of 12 siblings in a mixed race family, including several adopted kids. He's always been fascinated by religion from a distance. We talked about Christopher Hitchens and how he was maybe not as bad as he seemed?? Also, sponsoring immigrant families, taking shits at church, and how to be a likeable comedian.

Emily Overstreet of the band Great Wilderness and Bitch'n is a good friend of Amy's from Portland and a formerly enthusiastic church-goer! Get into this episode if you wanna go deep on Jars of Clay and how praise hands can follow you to other concerts. Emily is just a joy!
