At 2117 on 102324 both Hamilton and Lebanon OSP posts broadcasted a BOLO to I75 units for a white pickup with license plate PNK2966. The vehicle was wanted for fleeing a Dayton traffic stop nearly hitting a woman and child in the process and the driver was possibly armed. As the vehicle crossed from OSP district 5 to district 8 a Dayton helicopter followed and provided OSP dispatchers with updated information. After traversing southbound on 75 exiting eastbound onto 7150 and merging northbound to 71 OSP successfully employed stop sticks at the Ridge Avenue exit east of 71. The driver continued for a short distance before bailing from the vehicle and being hunted down by the combination of OSP and Daytons helicopter.
