Americans may be the freest people on the planet, but they are one of the most conditioned.  In this fascinating, 14 minute documentary, the effects of Edward Bernays' life work are explored.  Bernays was the nephew of Sigmund Freud and the founder of modern public relations (a euphemism for propaganda).  Some of his many "accomplishments" included: 1. Selling Americans on fighting in World War I in 1917; 2. Getting women to smoke; 3. Conducting a propaganda war against a democratically elected leader in Guatemala; 4. Persuading Americans to accept the addition of a toxic waste, bi-product, sodium fluoride to their water supplies; 5. In this podcast we discuss and update a ground breaking story written by Chuck Carlson in 1998:  "Missionaries, Mercenaries, Missiles and Money: The Untold Story of the War on the Children of Sudan."   Back then, President Bill Clinton bombed a pharmaceutical plant in Sudan for his installment of the "war on terror." No precursors for weapons of mass destruction" were ever found in Sudan, just as no WMDs were found in Iraq after 911.  Christian organizations and churches raised large sums of donations to "free" the "slaves" in Sudan, and, Muslims were further demonized.  And,now, there's ISIL. This is quite a story!

Could the blackout on such vital information be intentional?
